Welcome to Petrol Pack. These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern your use of petrol-pack.com (the "Site") and any purchase you make from us. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or place an order.
Petrol Pack is a personalised trading-card service for car enthusiasts and anyone who wants to remember a car they love. Each card is produced individually, based on photos and details submitted by the customer.

References in these Terms to "we," "us," or "Petrol Pack" mean the entity above. References to "you" or "customer" mean the person placing an order.
Petrol Pack is available to customers worldwide. You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. By placing an order, you confirm that you are 18 or older and legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your country of residence.
If you believe there has been an issue relating to age eligibility on an order, please contact us at support@petrol-pack.com and we will review the case.
3.1. Every Petrol Pack card is made to order. You select a card style and build details through our configurator and submit photos and details of your car.
3.2. Before placing an order, you must confirm a required checkbox stating that the information you have submitted — including build details, statistics, and any text — has been checked by you and is accurate to the best of your knowledge. You cannot complete an order without checking this box. Your acceptance is timestamped and stored with your order as a record of your confirmation.
3.3. Because cards are produced from the information and images you provide, we are not responsible for errors, inaccuracies, or misspellings that result from information you submitted once you have confirmed it under section 3.2.
3.4. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order at our discretion, including where submitted content does not meet our guidelines under section 4.
3.5. If you notice a mistake in your submission, you may email support@petrol-pack.com to request a correction. We will accommodate changes free of charge if production has not yet begun. Once production has started, corrections are no longer possible and the order is treated as a personalised item made specifically for you (see section 8).
4.1. By uploading a photo or any other content to Petrol Pack, you confirm that you own the photo or otherwise hold the necessary rights to use it, and that you have the right to grant us permission to use it for the purpose of producing your card (and, if you opt in under section 10, for gallery/social use).
4.2. You agree not to upload images or content that you do not have the rights to, or that infringe on the rights of any third party.
4.3. We only accept images of cars for use in producing your card. Any other type of image is not permitted. If you submit an image that does not show a car, we reserve the right to cancel your order and issue a refund at our discretion.
4.4. You agree not to submit any text, build details, or other content that is offensive, defamatory, unlawful, or that attempts to misuse or abuse our Site or configurator (for example, by submitting spam, malicious code, or content unrelated to your car). We reserve the right to cancel an order or remove content that breaches this section.
4.5. Our card designs are illustrated renderings of your build rather than direct reproductions of your photo. As part of our rendering process we do not explicitly render manufacturer badges, logos, or other trademarked elements in detail. This is a deliberate part of our design approach, intended to keep the focus on your specific build rather than on manufacturer branding.
4.6. We reserve the right to decline or request changes to a submission if, in our judgment, it raises concerns under sections 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, or 4.4.
5.1. Petrol Pack cards are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any vehicle manufacturer. Any chassis codes, model references, or build terminology used are for descriptive and identification purposes only. All third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
5.2. All Petrol Pack brand assets — including but not limited to our name, logo, card designs, and Site content — are the property of Petrol Pack and may not be reproduced without our permission.
5.3. The card we produce for you is intended as a personal, commissioned piece based on your build. It is provided to you for personal use. Commercial resale or reproduction of the printed card or the digital artwork is not permitted without prior written agreement.
6.1. Prices are displayed on the Site at the time of order and are charged in Euros (EUR). Prices include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already placed and confirmed.
6.2. Payment is taken at the time of order through our payment processor, Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.). We do not store your full card details on our servers; the payment provider handles them under its own terms and PCI-DSS compliance.
6.3. For customers outside the EU, additional import duties or taxes may apply on delivery. These are not included in the price and are the customer's responsibility.
7.1. Each card is produced after your order and confirmed details are received. Estimated production time is [7-14 business days]; estimated shipping time depends on destination and will be shown at checkout.
7.2. Shipping costs are calculated based on destination and will be shown at checkout.
7.3. Under EU consumer law we will deliver your order without undue delay and in any event within 30 days of the order being placed, unless otherwise expressly agreed with you.
7.4. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processes, force majeure events, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
8.1. Under Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights (as implemented into Portuguese law by Decree-Law 24/2014), the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are made to your specifications or clearly personalised. Each Petrol Pack card is produced specifically for you based on the photo, build details, and text you submit, and therefore qualifies as a personalised item. We do not accept returns or refunds for change of mind once production has begun.
8.2. You may cancel an order for a full refund at any time before production has begun. Please email support@petrol-pack.com as soon as possible after placing the order. We will confirm whether cancellation is still possible.
8.3. If your card arrives damaged in transit, or contains a production fault that is not attributable to information or images you submitted and confirmed under section 3.2, please contact us at support@petrol-pack.com within 14 days of delivery, with photos of the issue. We will review your case and, where the issue is confirmed as a production or shipping fault on our side, arrange a reprint or refund at no additional cost.
8.4. We do not offer refunds or reprints for inaccuracies in information that you confirmed as correct under section 3.2.
9.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Petrol Pack is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or your purchase of a card.
9.2. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to your order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
9.3. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have as a consumer under applicable mandatory law that cannot be excluded by agreement — in particular, your statutory rights under Portuguese and EU consumer law.
Your personal data — including any photos you upload — is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We use your submitted content to produce your card. Please read the Privacy Policy for the full picture of what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to exercise your rights.
10.1. Gallery and social media use is opt-in. During checkout you can tick a box to allow us to feature your card in our public gallery on the Site and on our social channels. If you do, we may publish: the digital image of the card you created, and the image of your car you submitted (with any visible number plates blurred). No other personal information will be published. If you do not tick the box, we will not feature your card publicly. You can change your mind at any time — before or after your order — by emailing support@petrol-pack.com.
11.1. If you have a complaint about your order, please contact us first at support@petrol-pack.com. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
11.2. As a customer in Portugal, you have access to the Portuguese Electronic Complaints Book (Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico) at livroreclamacoes.pt.
11.3. As a customer in the European Union, you may also submit disputes via the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
11.4. Portugal-based alternative dispute resolution entities relevant to distance-selling consumer disputes include CNIACC (Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo). Details: cniacc.pt.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time you placed your order will apply to that order. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms for future orders.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your order will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of your country of residence if you are an EU consumer.
